About this ebook
This is a light-hearted look at dieting. My purpose was to provide an entertaining diet book that provides the tools to fix the problem. A humorous, scathing story of weight loss... It illustrates my views of why we overeat and how to fix the problem based on my own personal loss of around 60lbs with no real difficulty. Lose weight and have a laugh at the same time, win win surely?! Enjoy.

I am a 33 year old male, born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. I am currently back in New Zealand after living in overseas for a while. As of yet I am unpublished (well no papery things tied up with string), until now I didn’t have any great dreams of being an author. However after using this program myself I felt that I should share the system that worked so well for me. I also felt I could lend something new to this category of writing. I did a fair amount of research before writing this book and found nothing along a similar line to what I was planning to write. There was no hard talking, comedic book that was easy to read and wasn’t padded with pages and pages of useless information. I believe all the reader needs to lose weight is to have accurate information... if it is packaged in such a way that they can enjoy absorbing that information it can’t fail. So as it says in the book, I am not a dietitian, or a doctor or scientist. I am just an average guy who has gone done the hard yards loosing weight and wanted to share my story and knowledge of a system that works, long term, with others.

OVERVIEW
‘One Seat on the Plane" is a light hearted look at dieting. My purpose when writing it was to provide an entertaining diet book. The norm when it comes to this sort of book is a long winded, hard to read, jargon/science filled epic. I set out to write a short, comedic story that outlined my personal views on the topic. What ensued was a very funny, sometimes scathing book that tells my story of losing a fairly substantial amount of weight. Through this medium of storytelling I also convey my beliefs in relation to why we over eat, the history behind this and how to overcome this programming. And of course most importantly of all, the book gives a series of programs to help you, the reader drop their excess weight

Introduction:
It was cold, dark and wet, this weather shows no sign of abating. The winter wind blew bare tree branches against the double glazed windowpane of a near empty room. Thunder rolled its long drum solo against the sky and flashes of forked lightning illuminated the deep moonless night. A lone hooded man stared into the darkness. His face lit by an ethereal blue glow.
Okay, so the hooded guy is me, and the eerie blue glow is the joyous light projected by a very blank looking computer monitor. I am sitting here alone, gazing intently into my computer, desperately trying to figure out the best way to write a book that will connect with the reader while telling my story in an entertaining and hopefully informative way. I have the stories, and I have the information. Now if I can only figure out how to start I will be able to give you some valuable information.
I was fat… overweight, a lard ass… I made a decision to lose weight and I did it. I am going to tell you how to lose your excess weight. Well, that sounds like as good a way to start as any. Please read on.
Before we begin I must ask you to please not be offended, if I say something a bit off the wall. My aim is to tell my story and show you how to
