About this audiobook

This audiobook is narrated by a digital voice.

In the icy waters of the South, a chance encounter with a bumbling monk changes the fate of a penguin colony forever. Christened into a peculiar new existence, the penguins cast off their feathers and take up the ways of man. But beneath their borrowed clothes and hats, the same old penguin desires simmer: the thirst for power, the allure of conflict, the endless squabbles over pebbles and fish. Welcome to Penguinia, a nation mirroring our own in its absurdity and ambition, its triumphs and tribulations. Prepare to be both amused and discomforted by this tale that asks: can we truly escape our inherent nature, or are we forever destined to waddle through the same follies, flightless and fancy-free?
