IN HOT PURSUIT
Waking to a peach sundae of a sunrise, we lie in our vast canopied bed, sipping tea and drowsily listening to the birds carolling in the sunny garden. The floor-to-ceiling windows of our suite offer a panoramic view of rolling green hills and the sparkling blue river beyond and, as we admire this picturesque scene, we become aware that we are not alone. Loud crunching noises herald the arrival of a humbug-striped zebra, ripping up the bushes with large yellow teeth, apparently oblivious to our presence. Later, en route from our cottage to the dining area, we run up against 11 giraffes. They stare at us vaguely, then turn as one and sway elegantly off into the trees.
