Exciting and original story with realistic and wonderfully drawn characters. Cried for poor Gwynnth! Reading makes the book come alive, and is one of the best I've heard.

I found this book unlistenable and I am astonished that Mick Herron could produce such a poorly constructed, meandering, gratuitously perverse novel.
