The Sun has been extinguished and has long lain dormant. An old crone exhorts young Embra to reignite the cold, black orb which circles their world. Forced to flee upward, she embarks upon a blind, harrowing journey through the moldering, eternal night of the surface world, bent upon relighting the Sun and returning daylight to her beaten, demoralized people.
