Live this book. The female narrator talks to fast then allows down. But other than that it was as good as the rest in the series

I really enjoyed the previous books and was looking forward to this one. I couldn't even get past chapter 4 because the narration was so horrible. She talks way to fast, even slowing it down, and then huffs at the end of every sentence. He talks up and down, having inflections in the wrong places, and still too fast.

Well, I’m only about 20 minutes in and the female narrator is ruining the book for me. She keeps ending sentences on a lily that sounds like a question. It’s infuriating.

We've seen Col Sloan in many of the other Sedona Pack stories. But we get more insight into the experiences that motivated his career and actions since he was a young man. When he shakes hands with a female ex-FBI agent, he realizes that she is his fated mate. They work together to stop the senator from telling the world about werewolves and fall in love along the way.
