The ending ruins the story for me and makes everything mute… IDK why the author made that choice… it’s like the whole table is set and the food looks great but when you go to taste it, everything is made out of styrofoam!!…lol. Well that was different! Definitely kept me wanting more. Intriguing characters, and loved the imagery of the town and home. Loved the creepy mood throughout the book. Never a lack of twists.

Honestly this book was really great, until that last chapter. I get what the author was intending, to leave the reader unsettled and unsure of the truth, but to me it fell flat. I really liked it otherwise and want to check out more from this author
