Oh my god I have to wait an entire year for the next book this is torture. It's Oct 19, 2021 and "Chain of Thorns" won't be released until Nov 1, 2022. Someone please just shoot me now. Poor James and Daisy and Mathew oh I wonder how it'll end. *Shakes fists at the sky*

Faz anos que leio Cassandra e toda vez que viro a última página de um livro dela me sinto eufórico... não poderia ser diferente com esse. Cordelia ganhou meu coração antes mesmo de conhecê-la. Admiração por personagem? Temos. Corrente de Ouro foi incrível, mas a forma que ESSE livro aconteceu não tá escrito. Foi incrível. Obrigado Cassie, por me fazer sorrir, sofrer e depois sorrir mais.

Even when the narrator did an amazing job making voices and accents for everyone I did not enjoy this book as much as I tough I would. It was nor good, nor bad but it just wasn’t for me. I think this might be the last Shadowhunters book I read.

This book's prose is more character-based and very much a crime thriller fantasy as we find the Merry Thieves caught up in the murder investigations of several Shadowhunters but the killer is not human.
