About this audiobook

Perfect for fans of Tahereh Mafi's New York Times bestselling Shatter Me trilogy, this book collects the first two companion novellas, Fracture Me and Destroy Me, for a thrilling insight into the minds of Juliette's two great loves – Adam and Warner.
Destroy Me

The mind-blowing events between Shatter Me and Unravel Me are told here from Warner's point of view. Even though Juliette shot him in order to escape, Warner can't stop thinking about her – and he'll do anything to get her back. But when the Supreme Commander of The Reestablishment arrives, he has very different plans for Juliette. Plans Warner cannot allow.
Fracture Me
Watch through Adam's eyes as he bridges the gap between Unravel Me and Ignite Me. As the Omega Point rebels prepare to fight the Sector 45 soldiers, Adam is more focused on the safety of Juliette, Kenji, and his brother. The Reestablishment will do anything to crush the resistance … including killing everyone Adam cares about.

Perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas, Victoria Aveyard and Leigh Bardugo.

I enjoyed seeing the different POV and how the characters acted out of Juilette's view. Tahereh Mafi really has a way with writing and it's like nothing I've experienced before, it's the main reason I'm so intrigued in the world she has created.

This was both interesting and informative. I really liked that I got to learn more about Warner. I got to see who he really is deep down and what he loves and hates. He is different, he is scared, he is angry, he is so many things but he is not a monster. He is not awful. The second part of this picked up in the last few scenes in Unravel Me, but from Adam’s perspective. I don’t know how Omega Point’s people are going to survive now that their homeless. I don’t even know if Adam and Kenji’s group is the only group to survive or even if Omega Point has actually collapsed completely. I am holding out hope that things will turn around in book three. They have to, you know? You can’t just destroy my hopes like that. Anyway, good novella. I am indefinitely excited about the rest of this series.

I enjoyed this two novellas a lot. I liked Warner's story more than Adams just because I feel like there's more emotion from Warner than Adam. Mafi has a way of writing feelings and telling a story that draws me in and makes me feel what her characters feel 100%. The biggest accomplishment of these two novellas was make me realize just how addicrted I am to these books and how much I can not wait to read the final book, Ignite Me, even though I know it will be the end of the series.

Reading this book has given me an insight on what Warner and Adam think. I do not regret reading it! Also, I don't know about the rest of you but after reading Unravel Me, I felt a huge distaste towards Adam.

    Review of Fracture Me

As usual, Mafi is a master with words. Her depiction of Juliette’s suffering as written in her Journal left me breathless and enthralled.

This book has Adam's POV following Omega Points decision to go to war against The Reestablishment. It was surprising hearing from Adam. The strongest feeling this book left me with was his no faith view of Juliette. I was horribly offended on her behalf. He seemed to want to be more of her protector than her partner in their battles for freedom. I couldn't believe how weak he thought she was, at least that's my interpretation. I don't know how this will affect them going forward because I can see Juliette transitioning to someone more stronger and ready to take her life back. I really hope that Adam will get over his narrow minded view of who he thinks she is and how she needs to be secured away from danger not standing up to it.

All that being said, this was another fantastic installment in the series and I can't wait to see how it all plays out.

Honestly I started getting into my feelings and so people I was initially rooting for just didn't get my vote anymore lol. Other than that it was really good and I can't wait to dive in Ignite Me.

This book contains the novellas "Destroy Me" (set between books one and two) and "Fracture Me" (set between books two and three). And it left me feeling conflicted.DESTROY MEOkay, so I made it no secret that I felt like Warner's love for Juliette at the end of the first book felt forced and weird. This novella provides some background about how he started falling in love with her, so it feels a little less rushed now. Sort of. Although it still feels weird. Whatever.I like the character of Warner (now; he felt rather one-dimensional in Shatter Me); I always like a good villain. I don't think that he's a good romantic choice, though, and it kind of makes me feel weirded out that he might be one. Those bordering on the sociopath line usually don't make good romantic partners. Just saying. But I liked seeing Warner's view of the events in Shatter Me, as well as seeing what his father is like and how Warner became, well, Warner.FRACTURE MEI hate to say it, but this novella made me really dislike Adam. He keeps saying that Juliette isn't built for war and she should have just stayed back at Omega Point. He even blames her (sort of) for his own inaction at one point. Bleh.I like his devotion to James. That's about the only redeeming quality of Adam in this novella. And once Juliette is captured, he assumes (wrongly, it turns out) that it is Warner who captured her. And even though he and Kenji just said ten pages ago that Warner is, in essence, a sociopath and monster, Adam was all "lol it's okay Warner won't hurt Juliette so she can just stay with him for a while." Uhh...what? Even Kenji gets on his ass and calls Adam out, asking him why he isn't more gung-ho to save Juliette from (presumably) Warner's grasp if Adam truly loves Juliette. Kenji practically has to bully him into trying to find out where Juliette is being held so they can break her out. And then Adam is all nervous because he's going to have to leave the relative safety of his old house to help break Juliette out of prison. He says that he loves Juliette, but he sure doesn't act like he does. I'm also getting a vibe that he might like Alia, another girl from Omega Point, in the future.----------So...yeah. I left this book disliking Adam rather strongly. Weird. On to Ignite Me!

This is not going to be a full blown review but more me throwing my two cents into the discussion. Unite Me contains Destroy Me, a novella from Warner’s point of view, and Fracture Me, from Adam’s point of view. It’s been almost a year since I read Shatter Me for the first time but I think I remember it pretty well, same with Unravel Me and you can find my reviews for those books linked below. Let me start by saying, I have never liked Warner. He is controlling and manipulative and he only cares about owning Juliette. Contrary to what seems to be the popular opinion, reading Destroy Me did not change my mind about this and didn’t make me sympathetic towards him. I agree with him – he is a coward. All he does is talk – or in this case, think – at the readers, and there’s never any real decisive action from him to back up what he claims he really feels. I’m not falling for it. I think he’s useless. He is part of the reason that I have been putting off reading Ignite Me for so long. Just the possibility of Juliette ending up with him physically upsets me, that she could fall for someone so cruel, who thinks of no one but himself and is just an all around asshole. I stand by my beliefs, and refuse to feel sympathetic for him. Okay, you had a terrible childhood. Now that you’re an adult, it’s time to stand up instead of cowering in your father’s shadow. And for godssakes learn that you do not have the right to POSSESS anyone, least of all Juliette. You are a terrible person and yes terrible people do exist so they should also exist in books. BUT YOU DO NOT DESERVE HER. SHE IS NOT YOURS.Moving on.Unfortunately Fracture Me failed to live up to expectations, but that is hard with novellas isn’t it? From it, though, I gained some interesting insights about Adam and what was important to him. I thought it very realistic that while he loves Juliette, someone who broke up with him and has caused him a great deal of pain, his first priority is his brother, who really is like his own child. He needs to think about what is best for James, first and foremost. I completely understand that. I also know that following the events of this novella, he is going to be forever doubting and second guessing himself. There wasn’t a whole lot he could do and yet, being Adam, he will still be shouldering a great deal of blame, pain and grief. The poor guy. No one listens to him. I actually feel sorry for him a bit.A quick note on Juliette’s journal: didn’t get anything from it I didn’t already glean from the first two novels plus Destroy Me. Unnecessary.3 Stars. Am even more nervous to read Ignite Me than I was before but at least I am ready for it now – I think! Watch this space for my Ignite Me review.
