About this audiobook

Five bounty-hunting sisters

Deep in the heart of the Rockies

Fighting to save each other

. . . and the men who steal their hearts

Cara Pax never wanted to be a bounty hunter. She's happy to leave chasing criminals and tackling skips to her sisters. But if she wants her dreams of escaping the family business to come true, she's got one last job to finish . . . Only problem is, she doesn't think her bounty is guilty.

Henry Kavenski is a man with innocence to prove. When he realizes that Cara believes him, he'll do anything to keep her out of harm's way. Escaping criminals and dodging cops might not be the best time to fall in love, but Henry and Cara won't give up, not when there's a chance at a new life ahead-if they can survive the fall.

Risk It All was absolutely worth waiting for! Cara was very entertaining! She really stepped out of her element for her sisters because she wanted to do everything she could to contribute in the bounty-hunting business after the debacle their mother had left them in. Only, her efforts were pretty much wasted because she had no idea how to properly do the field work. I give her an “A” for effort, though.I wish with everything inside of me that Henry could have had his own voice in this story but, alas, inside his head I was not. Despite not being a part of his inner thoughts, I felt his character came across loud and clear. At first, he was surprised and exasperated by Cara but with her relentless pursuit into bounty-hunting matters that kept putting her into his path he developed a rather against-his-will fondness for her and when Cara found herself in a situation way over her head, Henry stepped up in a surprising way. There was a point in this story where the plot took quite the turn and I was actually very surprised with the situation Cara found herself in. I really did not see things going in that direction but I loved it! There was also a twist at the end which made perfect sense, in hindsight, but was still a surprise to me at the time. I truly enjoyed reading this story!I am glad I continued with the Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters series after book one, In Her Sights, because that book did not wow me but this book was very enjoyable indeed. What developed between Henry and Cara was swoon worthy and the romance was sweet in an action-packed on the run kind of way. I am all in for continuing this series! Risk It All is the kind of romance that will have your heart pumping and put you on the edge of your seat hoping for a happily ever after ending for two deserving characters.

A nice story but sometimes the witty repartee went on a bit too long without much going on in the story.
