About this audiobook

Mega-fan June Blue’s whole life has been leading up to this moment: ZombieCon! The Ultimate in Undead Entertainment has
finally come to her hometown. She and her two best friends—gorgeous, brilliant Imani and super-sweet, outrageously silly Siggy—plan
on hitting all the panels and photo ops, and meeting the heartthrob lead of their favorite zombie apocalypse show, Human Wasteland.
It’s going to be the best time of their lives—and one of their last adventures before they all split up for college.

And when they arrive, everything seems perfect. June’s definitely not going to let anything get in the way of the flawless con
experience—even though she’s endlessly anxious about the SATs and college admissions, and she can’t seem to avoid her ex–best friend
Blair, whose VIP badge lets her walk straight to the front of every single line. No matter what, June is determined to make the best of her
dream day at ZombieCon!

But something’s not quite right at the con—there are strange people in hazmat suits running around, enthusiastic cosplayers taking
their shambling a little too far, and someone actually biting a cast member. Then, at a panel gone wrong, June and her friends discover
the truth: the zombie apocalypse is here.

Now June, Imani, and Siggy must do whatever it takes to survive a horde of actual flesh-eating zombies—and save the world. A hilarious
and heartfelt horror comedy, that is an ode to zombies, friendship, and girl power.

Pitched as the book that vibes with Clueless, the storyline is interesting with all the zombies and their coincidental attack at Zombiecon event but the overall experience was dragging and dry. OK-ish but more of a 2.5-star read

This book belongs up there with the best of zombie literature. This author understands there is no need to recreate the zombie, but rather the reinvent the survivors! Also, the callouts were amazing!

This was a great listen. The beginning was alittle slow but once the zombies showed up the story had a good pace. The main character had alot of funny quips. The narrator did a great job. It's worth the listen.

Jim, Imani and Siggy our real bad ass is in this book. I love The Walking Dead so I knew I would love this book, and it did not disappoint. A zombie outbreak at a zombie convention was brilliant thinking. This book was awesome. Everyone should read it, if you’re into zombies and cosplay.

I'm a huge zombie or post-apocalyptic scenarios, unfortunately this one fell flat for me. I thought that the idea was interesting like going to a zombie convention and literally being overpowered by zombies sounds like a fun, entertaining concept. And while I enjoyed the female friendships and how it was centered around that it wasn't enough to capture my intrigue.

While I though that the opening scenes were interesting and we were understanding the friendship and characters it quickly became boring and uninteresting. I thought that it took a long time to introduce the zombies, then it felt long-winded. Overall, it was a fun read and I'm glad I decided to pick it up.
