About this audiobook

When famed TV actor Kyle O’ Connor returns to his hometown for Christmas in a bid to redeem himself in the eyes of the world after a drunken car crash, he runs into his high school crush, Stephanie Sisko.

Kyle had always been too intimidated by the bookish Steph to ask her out, while Steph, oblivious to his requited infatuation, still harbors resentment at him for dating every girl in school but her — and her best friend Charly.

Upon seeing that Kyle is in town, crafty Charly devises a plan to set her bestie up with her old crush. First, she needs to convince the heartthrob to star in the annual play Steph has been tasked with staging now that a hip injury has her mother, the high school drama teacher and usual organizer, bedridden.

With two weeks until opening night, nothing is ready, and Steph will need a miracle to pull the show off. Meanwhile, Kyle desperately needs to salvage his reputation, and what better way to appear like the hometown hero he wants to be than to lend his talents to a high school play?

It’s a win-win situation… right?

Didn’t finish the book. If it’s posted as a Christian book, I don’t understand why it has the word damn in it. I don’t talk with words like that & I hold the Christian writer to higher standards.
