Reviews for Charlie Chaplin
2 ratings2 reviews
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5It covers Chaplin’s basic biography and films, but is extremely repetitious and awkwardly compiled from several sources. The narration has numerous mispronunciations.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Cool! Have you actually listened to a book like this? I almost overlooked this book, but I am actually happy that I checked it out anyway. It makes sense what the author says, especially in the last few chapters, where the matter becomes a final thought. This deserved my time. Lastly, a book which delivers. Another thing: The storyteller sounded so great that I would most likely listen to it in the future. Perhaps even more than one time. I can't remember every single thing that's being stated in these books, so it would be worth reminding me of what was actually being said.
