- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Daniela McCain comes back to her hometown for her share of the selling of the family home. One of her sisters is the local sheriff and doesn't trust her motives. Daniela goes to the home to find her sister, Auryn dead. Daniela is soon accused of the murder. She tries to find out who killed Auryn while reflecting on her childhood. I liked the book. The story goes between the past and the present. It also explores the strained relationship between the sisters and the interaction of their father's former business partner and his family. The only critique I have is the book never explained what happened to the fourth sister. I recommend the book and hope the story continues
