About this audiobook
Trish Garret is a good girl who may or may not be wanted by the law.
A poor decision in her past has her on the run, keeping a low profile while working waitress jobs at local watering holes. But during her latest stop in Houston, she’s managed to make herself a great group of friends she’s always wanted and never had.
When a private detective shows up at her Airstream trailer asking questions, Trish takes it as a sure sign it’s time to pick up stakes and skedaddle. But with her new best friend getting married, Trish is reluctant to leave before the wedding. Biting the bullet, she asks the one man she’s had a hard time hiding her heart from for help.
NASA flight controller Ian Kincaid has spent his life second-guessing the motives of people close to him thanks to the political maneuverings of his father, a Texas state senator. But when he hears a petite brunette in a bar holler “Yoo hoo” in a southern accent thicker than honey and just as sweet, Ian starts making maneuvers of his own.
But after months of false starts, Ian thinks he and his dream girl might never be—until the day she comes calling for help.
Ian agrees to let Trish hide out, trailer and all, on his property where she’ll be free from both prying and private eyes. But only if she’ll pretend to be his girlfriend when his father shows up, intending to push his son into a politically-motivated marriage.
Between warrants, political fundraisers, nosey housewives, and drunken bridesmaids, can Trish and Ian rendezvous to love?
Or will their pasts throw them out of orbit?

Reviews for Space Oddities

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This series is definitely entertaining with some crazy characters and situations. Space Oddities is book 3, Trish and Ian’s story. Trish is a woman on the run, hiding who she is and afraid to put down roots. We have seen hints of her evasive behavior in prior books, so now we get to see what happened. I’m so glad we finally get Ian’s story, to understand his complex family dynamics and issues as a result of that. In spite of having instant chemistry, Trish is definitely trying to run. In spite of the wonderful friendships she has established with this group and her potential feelings for Ian, she is bent on running away. There are plenty of cute situations with some mystery and Ian has a fantastic hero moment. This is a really cute romcom series. Samantha and Lee continue to do a wonderful job with these characters to bring us all of the humor, the steam, and the drama. I’m already on to the next book!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Awesome Story & Narration! This Series is Amazing!!
Sara L. Hudson continues to wow me with another awesome novel in her “Space Series”. I am loving this series, the characters are absolutely amazing and their stories are enjoyable and entertaining. Romantic comedy at it’s best with the perfect balance of romance, drama and humor. This book is Ian Kincaid and Trish Garrett’s story, Trish became one of my favorite characters and I was happy to see she was getting her own book. Ian works for NASA and is friends with Jackie and Jules, he has been attracted to Trish and finally gets to make his move. But when he freaks out he sends her the wrong message, but manages to get another chance to make things right. Each one is holding back secrets, Trish’s cause her to run and live the life she wants and Ian’s holds him back in his job and personal life. We also get to meet his arrogant and controlling father. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with laugh out loud moments and witty dialogue that will have you smiling ear to ear. There are some nice twists when it comes to Trish and what she was hiding. I liked how the girls were on to her surprising Trish that she was not as smart at hiding things as she thought. It was great to see how much Ian grew as a person by the end. I was so happy to see these two get their HEA, also happy to see Jackie Darling Lee and Flynn West tie the knot. Who is next? Sara L. Hudson, thank you for another awesome story, I am looking forward to Rose’s story and what comes next in this amazing series.
And for the fabulous narration, Samantha Brentmoor & Lee Samuels are awesome portraying the characters, giving each their own voice and personality. Lee Samuels played Ian’s role perfectly, sounding just as I pictured him to sound, Samantha Brentmoor did the same for Trish. They were awesome playing the secondary characters, taking each role and making it their own. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the dialogue with ease and landed the humor flawlessly. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured all of the characters emotions and projected them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen? - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I’ve really enjoyed the other books in the series, this just did t measure up. Less chemistry, interaction and angst.
