Not as good as the previous books. There was a major lack of continuity from the previous book to this one. It was like the author completely forgot what happened in the previous book in several places. There was also a lot of repetitive whining from the lead character that just seemed to get monotonous. I just don't think it was written by the same person!

Out of all the books from Blake, this is the first with some major mistakes. Avery and Rose were at peace in previous book and suddenly in this one at odds with each other. Avery was not able to make Rameris's funeral due to being in hospital but in this one she was there. Thus confusing. Storyline itself was good.
