About this audiobook
Susan Verde
Susan Verde grew up in a brownstone in the heart of Greenwich Village in New York City. She spent much of her time as a child clad in bell bottoms and rainbow suspenders. She currently lives in East Hampton, New York, amidst an explosion of Legos, art supplies, and picture books, with her twin boys Joshua and Gabriel, and her daughter Sophia. They are the constant inspiration for her writing.

Reviews for The Museum
4 ratings5 reviews
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This has a fun, rhythmic text and fun pictures. The emotion and excitement that flows through this young girl as she makes her through the museum is delightful. Frankly, I wish I felt that inspired. Her take on the blank canvas at the end of the museum is full of imagination.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is such a cute book about what kids can feel when they see art. I love how much she appreciated everything she say. I ESPECIALLY love the open-ended canvas at the end. I think a lot of people would enjoy this book. It warmed my heart.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The necessity of art and it's interpretation is lovingly laid out for children to see. They are shown that there can be many reactions to art, and that showing emotion is a good thing. How does this book make me feel? How about... squiggly, twisty and shiny!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This story shows all the different things that you can find in a museum. The story takes the little girl on an adventure through the museum's art work. In the end she realizes she can create her own masterpiece. This story would be great for little kids especially before maybe going to a museum or just talking about work. It shows kids that they can create anything they want.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A girl visiting the museum describes her emotions while observing paintings and sculptures. She then finds a blank canvas and lets her imagination go!
