    Shannon Heath was born in Temora, Australia, and now lives and creates in Portland, Oregon. Shannon’s signature style reflects her bespoke, artisan approach in creative direction. She often employs a dreamy pastel palette and builds layers in dramatic, emotive tableaux in an abstract expressionist manner. Shannon’s most recent release, Love Is Universal, stems from a trip made to the Palm Springs desert. The juxtaposition of the desert’s soft romantic pastel horizon against the harsh gritty landscape directly and consciously inspired the techniques Shannon employed. The slow and steady build-up of colour contrasts with the quick, concise and deliberate marks made to reveal the colour beneath. All play homage to the magical landscape. shannonheathstudio.com
