On ageing well

We’re 50% genetics. We hope that we’re delivered a fit, sound body and then it’s up to us, as the custodians of that body, to look after it. I wish there was a pill or magic potion that would do all the work for us, but there isn’t. For me, it’s not about how long I’ll live, it’s about having life in my years.

Movement is very important. Even if we don’t have the time or money to spend at the gym, we can exercise and tone our bodies by walking and moving properly. I studied something called the Alexander Technique, which is all about fluidity of movement and using your body how it’s meant to be used
