APPLIQUÉ PREPARATION AND CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS

See Page 95 for general appliqué preparation instructions. Templates in the Template Insert do not include seam allowance. The appliqué instructions will follow Lisa’s prepared appliqué method using the Wash-Away Appliqué Sheets. To follow her cutting tip, we’ve listed cutting instructions for backgrounds, borders, and binding first under each fabric heading.

From cream solid, cut:

• 4 – 6 ½" x 50" LOF for inner border
• 1 – 25" square for center background
• 4 – 7" squares for inner border corners

• 3 – 10 ½" x WOF strips, then sub-cut into:

8 – 10 ½" squares, cut once diagonally from corner to corner for 16 triangles

These appliqué backgrounds will be trimmed to size once
