MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS
⃞ 6 ½ yards light cream print for backgrounds, mitered appliqué border, and binding
⃞ ½ yard pale cream print for seasonal appliqué
⃞ 1 yard gray print for mitered inner and outer pieced border strips (2 ¼ yards for LOF border strips without piecing)
⃞ 10 yards total (16 – 5⁄8 yard) in a variety of color prints for appliqué, Dresden Plates, and diamond sashing units
⃞ 2 ¼ yards fabric of choice for hanging sleeves (one for each side to rotate with seasons)
⃞ 4 ½ yards fabric of choice for backing
⃞ 1 yard Pellon SF101 fusible stabilizer for appliqué medallions and loops
⃞ 1 ball size 12 brown perle cotton or permanent fine-point fabric marker ⃞ Invisible monofilament thread by Superior Threads
⃞ Freezer paper/Washaway Appliqué Paper by C&T Publishing (three packages). Lisa prefers this method to prevent shadowing of Dresden blades beneath the center circles.
⃞ Chenille/embroidery needle and hoop
⃞ ¼" bias tape maker (optional)
