1 Restorative yoga
here’s a lot more to yoga than the physical postures, as Paula Hines, restorative yoga teacher, explains: ‘There are eight limbs of yoga, of which the postures (asana) are just one. These are guidelines on living a life with purpose and meaning.’ The different elements of yoga practice, including breathing, meditation and contemplation, work together to help you to find ‘a place of peace and acceptance of how things are, rather than how you might have wanted them to be’.
