Read Adobe PDFs in dark mode

I’m a big fan of dark modes in software – they’re less of a strain on my eyes. I’m delighted then that I’ve found how to change PDFs in Adobe Acrobat Reader (get.adobe.com/uk/reader) so that white text appears on a black background.

With Adobe Reader open, press Ctrl+K and you’ll see the Preferences section. Now click Accessibility in the menu on the left (1 in our screenshot above right), and in the middle tick the ‘Replace Document Colors’ box 2. Next, select the ‘Use High-Contrast colors’ option 3 and choose a colour combination in the dropdown menu on the right.
