Add ‘Search Everything’ to right-click menu

Thanks to your recommendation of the program Everything (www.snipca.com/45586) in Issue 656 (page 52) I can now search my PC more accurately than when I had to rely on Windows. If other readers are using it as often as I am, they should consider adding it to their right-click menu.

Click ‘Tools’ at the top of Everything, then select Options, followed by General on the left. Now tick ‘Show Search Everything folder context menu item’ on the right (see screenshot 1), then OK. You’ll now see the ‘Search Everything’ option and icon when you right-click a folder or your desktop 2.

Another option lets youwindow on execute’ and OK. One final tip: the quickest way to see these options is by pressing the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+P.
