Should I upgrade to Wi-Fi 6?

 In Issue 679 (page 69) you explained the difference between Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E. I note the devices I own need to be capable of using Wi-Fi 6. But will my current devices (which I presume work on Wi-Fi 5) still work on 2.4 or 5GHz and only newer devices work on Wi-Fi
