• Doll fabric – Four (4) fat-sixteenths
• Background fabric – 3¼yds
• Border fabric – 1yd
• Binding – ½yd
• Backing Fabric – 4¼yds
• Batting – 75in x 76in
• Templates (see Templates section)

■ Please read through the pattern before you begin.

■ Assume a ¼in seam allowance.

■ Assume a fabric width of 42in.

■ BKG = background.

■ RS = right side(s).

■ RST = right sides together.

■ WS = wrong side(s).

■ WST = wrong sides together.

■ WOF = width of fabric.

Cutting out

1 Choose four (4) Layer Cake 10in squares for the book pages and from each, cut two (2) 4½in x 8½in rectangles to yield a total of eight (8).

2 Choose four (4) Layer Cake 10in squares for the book covers and cut the following from each:

■ Two (2) 1½in x 6½in strips.

■ Two (2) 3½in x 6in rectangles.
