You will need

■ Assorted print fabrics – approx. 6yds in total*

■ Cream background fabric – 2¼yds

■ Backing fabric – 4¼yds

■ Batting – 80in square

■ Freezer paper for templates

■ Templates (see Templates section)

Finished size

■ Approx. 74in square

Fabric used

■ Rosewood by 3 Sisters for Moda

Notes

■ Seam allowances are ¼in, unless otherwise stated.

■ Press after each seam.

■ RS = right side(s).

■ Mix and match the print fabrics across the quilt, choosing whatever placement you prefer.

■ QST = quarter-square triangle.

* Sally used 36 prints in her quilt.

** Each of Sally’s blocks 2 and 3 use a different pair of colours.

Cutting out

1 For block 1 (quilt centre) choose three (3) colours and cut as follows:

■ From colour A, cut one (1) 2¾in square, for the block centre.

■ From each of colours B and C, cut as follows:

– One (1) 3⅛in square, subcut in half diagonally once.

– One (1) 4in square, subcut in half diagonally once.

– One (1) 5⅜in square, subcut in half diagonally once.
