PRECIOUS TIME

Laying back in my hospital bed, I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to finally meet my gorgeous boy.

I’d had a blissful pregnancy with Tyler and when he finally came into this world in April 2015, he was perfect.

‘Hello little one,’ I beamed.

We spent the first night in hospital so the nurses could help with breastfeeding.

Only, when we tried, Tyler wouldn’t latch on.

‘Come on sweetheart, you can do it,’ I said.

As the evening went on, Tyler just wouldn’t feed.

‘What’s wrong?’ I sobbed to the nurse.

‘Sometimes it happens, don’t worry,’ she soothed. ‘Let’s try formula instead.’
