Benefits: This move focuses on balance, while working your shoulders and your core.

• Stand tall holding a pair of light dumbbells. Turn your left heel 45 degrees outward, then shift your weight onto your left leg, hinging forward as you plant the ball of your right foot two to three feet behind you (keep your right leg straight). Extend both arms towards the floor in front of you, palms facing inward (the dumbbells should be almost touching). This is the starting position.
