About this series

This is it! Our final adventure in Questworld. Home is once again within our reach, and this time, we're not gonna mess it up.

We were so close to getting home, but as usual, Ebraxxa had other plans for myself and Bentley. Accepting that we might be stuck in Ebraxxa for the rest of our lives, imagine our surprise when we received a fragmented message from Brie in out guild stones.

The good news is, they all made it home, I think, and have a way to get us home as well. The bad news is, we have to journey to the floating continent

of Cirrune and head into someplace called the Shadow of Death.

Yeah, not at all ominous sounding. On top of that, our only way home is inside the Tomb of the Blind King. I have no idea what that is, but knowing our

luck, it's gonna be filled with a big bad evil guy who wants to murder us.

One way or the other, this looks like this going to be our final adventure here in Ebraxxa, so I hope some good luck is finally on our side for once.

James's Ragtag Adventures in Questworld is a middle grade, fantasy adventure series for fans of Percy Jackson, The Last Kids on Earth, and Trapped in a Video Game.

What's the first thing you do after you wake up one morning and find yourself trapped inside what you believe is your favorite video game? If you said try and find a way back home, you'd be completely wrong. Especially if you're anything like my friends and me. Instead, you use your game knowledge to finish a few easy quests, get yourself some money for room and board, and then hope a way back home just conveniently falls into your lap. That is of course until you decide to take on a quest that turns out to be just a little bit out of your league. How little bit you ask? Little bit enough that you end up releasing an ancient goblin queen named Vanika, whose only goal is to take over the world with her army of goblins. Yeah, looking back on it, it really wasn't one of our better decisions. But hey, it could be worse, right? I mean, I can't think of anything right this second, but I'm pretty sure there's something out there that's way worse than this. But anyway, now we gotta take our extremely worn-out equipment, and barely passable fighting skills, and use them to defeat an entire goblin army, including their magical, super-powered queen before they decide to take over the world. No pressure, right? I mean, how hard can it really be? I guess there's only one way to find out. What's the worst thing about being world saving heroes that nobody knows about? The fact that we're world saving heroes and nobody knows about it. You'd think defeating an evil Goblin Queen and saving the world would have skyrocketed us to fame and fortune, but guess what? It didn't. Not even close. But we're about to change all that. Hopefully. You see, we kinda, sorta stumbled upon the key to bringing back the entire dwarven race. Read that again. The. Entire. Dwarven. Race. That's right, everybody. If that doesn't get us some recognition and make life in this world easier for us, I don't know what will. Of course, we first have to deal with some Monfolk, and some pirates, and, oh yeah, defeat the giant, ancient earth elemental that's turned all the dwarves to stone. Yeah, that last one's a pretty big one. Literally. That thing's ginormous. But we got a plan. Not a very well thought out plan, but a plan nonetheless. And with a lot of luck, we might just pull this off. What if a newly found dungeon, full of unknown monsters and treasure, wasn't really that unknown? Would you explore it? If you're EJ and Bentley, the answer is yes. Why is the answer yes, you ask? Because they're a hundred percent sure that this new dungeon is a Questworld special event that EJ beta tested called The Trials of the Minotaur. On top of that, EJ knows some sort of secret path that should make it way easier for us to get through the dungeon than everybody else. Of course, that was before we ran into a clan of minotaurs, an ever changing maze of doom, demonic Imps, and a thousand year old mad wizard. Oh, did I forget to mention the dragons? Yeah, there're dragons too. So, like usual, this is anything but the easy adventure it was supposed to be. But what else is new... The good news? Aranel came across a lead that could finally get us all home. The bad news? He didn't tell us anything about it before he disappeared. So now it's a race against the clock to figure out what happened to Aranel, and if he really did find a way to get us home. Unfortunately, that means making a deal with a shady witch, getting info from an elf who is clearly up to no good, and getting ourselves captured by Savfolk and thrown into their makeshift gladiator games. Not exactly how things are supposed to go, but with getting home within our reach, nothing's gonna stop us... except maybe a giant Magic Devourer that looks like a pangolin with tentacles. That thing seems like it might be a problem. The self-proclaimed God King, Sundamar, has finally made his move, and we're the only ones that can stop him. Unfortunately, that means we all have to split up and search for the broken pieces of one of the most powerful items ever created, in hopes that it will be enough to stop a max-level Visitant as well as a world-ending cataclysm. Yeah, did I forget to mention that part? Apparently, that's a thing too, at least according to a Visitant Rune Caster named Juniper, who got transported here after the latest Questworld Online expansion came out. So if we ever want to get back home to our own world, we're gonna have to figure out how to save this one first. The good news is, we've finally figured out how to get home. The bad news? It's on a floating island inside one of the most dangerous places in Ebraxxa, the Sea Grave. Never ending thunder storms, giant winged beasts and who knows what else is waiting for us inside the Sea Grave. There's also the fact that we once again have to trust some shady pirates to get us there. Sky pirates no less. And did I mention the Skarn? Yeah. Beastly, half-man, half-scorpion monstrosities who's sole mission seems to be hunting and killing and and all Visitants they come across. So yeah, we've got our work cut out for us this time, but home is within our reach. No more failures. We're getting home this time, whether Ebraxxa likes it or not.
