About this series
Ruby and Nolan are getting older now, and their latest adventure is getting more dangerous, if that is possible!
So far, they have hatched an egg, and the dragon named Donzereli has become their friend! Their parents think Ruby, Nolan, Bonnie, and Shamus are going on a picnic after the Festival of Lights Celebration. But they take a dragon flight to Donzereli's home. Dr. Allen bribed his invitation!
Donzereli's friends become depressed when they learn that their parents are coming to take them home, which spells punishment for their little dragon flight!
Donzereli borrows his parents' VIP flying car and takes his friends on a VIP Deep-sea fishing trip without his parent's permission or knowledge! With dozens of huge dragons protecting them, what could happen to them? Nothing, right?
You might change your mind when you read about all of them being netted off the ship and swiftly taken up into a flying ship of the "Others!"
Please don't be too scared for them; theyhave visited the fabulous Mall at the Dragons Keep!
And didn't they have a blast in the Amusement Park at another Keep!
Ty and Robin are stressed about the new representative arriving to oversee the Consortium's interest in New Earth permanently! They decide to take a much-needed week-long beach camping trip. A sheltered lagoon, sunshine, and quiet are what they need. One has to hope the vacation will make their parents happier than the dragon Captain having the "Puny Humans" on his ship!
Unfortunately, the note attached to Pebbles' collar gets soaked with seawater and becomes unreadable as she rushes to their parents to let them know where their kids have gone!
Their week-long vacation turns into a nightmare of searching for their kids up and down the West Coast of their Continent! Everybody joins the search for the kids, but they are well hidden, right under everyone's noses!
The New Earthers have accepted the ability to speak to each other silently and read thoughts, but this new permanent ability, shared only by Ruby and Nolan, might not be so well received!
Let's hope this little adventure unites rather than divides the residents of New Earth!
The question is answered as to why the Dragons and the Others know very little about their New Earth. But forbidding any exploration of the rest of their world will not set well with everyone!

- The Science Project: Ruby & Nolan's Great Adventures in Space, #1
1
How does a family cope with making life-changing decisions? Does the family become closer or drift apart? Let's peek inside the lives of a family of four that makes a decision not many will ever make. They agreed to leave the comfort of their home, families, and earth and journey to an uninhabited planet many light-years away. The entire family makes the journey. However, this story is mainly about their two pre-teens' adventures. Ruby and Nolan Weller make their weekly climb up the hill by their home to check the Solar Panels. They are shocked to find two of them mangled and broken beyond repair. Searching for tracks of the animal that did the damage, they discover a large, brightly colored rock. Deciding it would be a great science project, they slide it down the hill with one small mishap and hide it in their play fort's wood box. For the next few weeks, they conduct their scientific study. When it starts growing, they realize it isn't a rock at all; it is an egg! They know back on earth, eggs do not grow! Whatever is in that egg, it is big! And it is hatching! Nolan hopes it is a pony, even though he knows ponies do not hatch from eggs. Ruby thinks it might be a chicken or a bird but is concerned with its size! What could go wrong? After all, it will be a baby. This is book one of a series of 7 young adult adventures.
- Dragon Flight: Ruby & Nolan's Great Adventures in Space, #2
2
Ruby and Nolan traveled with their parents to an uninhabited planet if they could bring "Uncle Dawnzereli," their dog Pebbles, and they wanted ponies. Yikes! Their science project hatches, and a baby Dragon bonds with them! They named him Donzereli after their strong, wonderful Uncle Dawnzereli, who they thought of as an Aunt. It would be an understatement to say Ty and Robin were disappointed that the "baby dragon" was kept secret from them for many weeks. Meeting his parent was a shock. The settlers accepted the real live Dragons after Donzereli became the highlight of the Festival of Lights by giving all the kids a ride on his back. Ruby, Nolan, Bonnie, and Shamus tell their parents they are going on a picnic. Dr. Rodney Allen hitches a ride with the adventurers, or he would tell their parents their destination. Book 2 is called "Dragon Flight" for a reason! Friends of Donzereli are flying Dragons to Donzereli's home in the north mountain! If that doesn't sound exciting enough, wait a minute! Does being kidnapped by creatures resembling Yeti's sound like fun? Or would being netted and hauled up to a flying car sound more like fun? Wasn't this planet supposed to be uninhabited?
- The Keep: Ruby & Nolan's Great Adventures in Space, #3

Ruby, Nolan, Bonnie, and Shamus sink into deep depression with the news that their parents will be arriving tomorrow! They are looking at being restricted for life! Donzereli to the rescue! He "borrows" a VIP flying car and streaks so fast to the coast, the kids and Dr. Allen are breathless. He has booked a VIP tour of a fishing and Lobster harvesting vessel. He posed as Councilor Walkegon. Nolan had just caught a monster fish that must weigh a ton! "Ruby, get a picture, quick!" Nolan shouted excitedly. No picture was taken because another adventure overshadowed his catch of a lifetime! No one saw the flying ship above them with its blue sails and white painted underside until the large net dropped over the group, and up they went! The good thing was that Donzereli was at the bottom of the pile, not on top! Landing on the deck of the ship, they were released from the net to be confronted by 10-foot-tall fur-clad beings starring at them with large eyes! Dr. Allen realized who they were as he overheard the councilors arguing about the advisability of introducing the "Others" to the humans He could find nothing about the "Others" with his internet search. Wait a minute! This makes 2 races or species! The settlers were told that their New World was uninhabited! One has to wonder what else they do not know about their New Earth! Arriving at the "Others Keep," they are scared silly but interested in seeing everything. They are hoping for a tour! Donzereli is hoping that he is not in danger just because he is a Dragon! Meanwhile, Rainbow, Sunset, Ty, and Robin are trying to keep the parents from "Storming the Castle" to rescue their kids from the strange aliens! Cooler heads will hopefully prevail and negotiate a peaceful release of the kids and Dr. Allen! One has to wonder if this adventure will bring the three species together or make the chasm wider! Wars have been fought over lesser things!
- The Others: Ruby & Nolan's Great Adventures in Space, #4

This is the continuing story of the adventures and misadventures of our two adolescent kids growing up on an uninhabited planet in another galaxy! Trouble seems to find them when they just want to have fun! Ruby and Nolan were responsible for uniting the humans and the dragon community to work together to stop the Consortium from trying to extract payment for "settling" the planet with humans. These dragons are artisans and more technologically advanced than their human friends. A new race of people is introduced to the human/dragon mix, and the kids are again the catalysts! All Donzereli wanted to do was take his friends deep-sea fishing! He "borrowed" a VIP flying car and tricked the captain of the fishing boat into thinking Councilor Walkegon had booked the trip. The captain is unhappy having the puny humans on his boat! Nolan catches a huge fish, and just as he is about to have his trophy picture taken, the whole group is netted and snatched up up, and away to meet the "Others!" Our adventurous group discovers that the others aren't the abominable snowmen the dragons made them out to be. They are given free rein to tour the entire Keep! Ruby and Donzereli find an amazing new, fun place to take the rest of the group. They called it The Amusement Park! Donzereli was a huge hit with the Other kids. Out adventurers were not looking forward to going home to the punishment they deserved and would face the knowledge that it would not be their last adventure! Dr. Allen felt guilty that he wouldn't face any punishment for his part in this adventure. He will always be ready to "help" on another adventure.
