About this ebook
Marissa Mahoney is a hopeless romantic. She has been warned that keeping Mario, her live-in pool boy and landscaper, full-time for 5 years is dangerous! What if he is an SASHA? (Seek And Save Humans from Aliens) agent?
Marissa ignores their warnings of being captured by SASHA! Captives always die from scientific experiments to find out their secret of immortality!
Unfortunately, time is not on her side! Marissa needs to regenerate soon or grow old and die! Her choice is clear: she must spend a month or two at the SAROS (South American Regenerist Organization Spa) or have the procedure at home.
Dr. Carl Sanderson, head of RAPT(Regenerists Are People Too), and Francesca Montenegro, Marissa's new housekeeper/nurse, have agreed to care for her at home and are caught in the middle of a dangerous game.
Mario loves the abundant sex plus a secure paying job. He is looking forward to his bonus when he turns over his video evidence of Marissa's regeneration in living color! He will be a celebrity when he reveals how the regenerists draw energy from humans! Mario is so sure of himself! He and Francesca are playing a who's fooling who game. Mario is looking forward to this reward when he betrays Marissa to SASHA.
It is up to you to figure out the difference between the bad guys and the good guys!

Creating worlds and characters and wielding power like a madwoman makes my characters happy, sad, angry, and have no redeeming qualities. I laugh aloud when writing a scene, and I have been known to cry when one of my favorites dies. I am a left-handed Gemini; what do you expect?

Chapter 1 Doctor, Doctor, tell me the News.
Marissa was completely absorbed in the exciting exploits of her favorite movie star, Monique Van Doran. Her latest escapade is the wildest yet!
Marissa Mahoney.
Dr. Carl Sanderson’s assistant, Mary Beth, called. Marissa was so deeply absorbed she heard nothing.
Marissa Mahoney, Mary Beth called again.
Damn, I wanted to read the rest of this article. Do other people really have lives this exciting?" Finally, looking up, she stood up, putting the magazine down. Realizing she might have to wait in Dr. Sanderson’s exam room, quickly grabbed it and hurried to catch up to Mary Beth, following her to exam room # 2.
Dr. Sanderson would not keep her waiting long, and the magazine would be entertaining. The exam room was large and luxurious, and Marissa saw new soft beige carpet with deep padding installed since her last visit. "Has it been that long?"
Marissa wondered as she hopped on the deeply padded exam table with a white linen cover. Dr. Sanderson would never subject his patients to those stiff paper covers that inevitably stuck to their most vulnerable body parts. His practice was small by choice! He enjoyed other pursuits, such as martial arts, snow, and water skiing.
Being the head of RAFT (Regenerists Are People, Too) required much of his time. He spent two months, usually December and January, attending the SAROS (South American Regenerist’s Organization Spa), checking the workers' health, and relaxing in his luxurious private suite.
Mary Beth quickly did Marissa’s workup of blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen level. Hiding the worried frown as, she typed the oxygen level numbers into the computer. Opening the door to exit the room, she said, Dr. Sanderson will be with you in a couple of minutes.
Marissa quickly stripped naked, pulled the gown on, and struggled with the ties, finally allowing it to hang open, barely clinging to her slim shoulders. Opening her magazine, finding the turned down the page, she began reading the juicy gossip, reveling in the scandalous lives of the stars, laughing out loud at their troubles. "My life is mundane compared to their lives. I’m a little jealous of the intrigue." Deeply engrossed in the juicy tidbits of their sordid lives, reading about the latest divorce of the biggest star in Hollywood, she was a little startled when the door opened, and in walked handsome Doctor Sanderson.
Hi, Carl, how have you been?
She said, hopping down from the table, her gown slipping off one shoulder and barely clinging to the other, It has been too long since we have had any time together, and I’ve missed you. We must have dinner together soon.
At his smile of agreement, she said, How about this Sunday, say 8:00? Mario is planning dinner and keeping the menu a huge surprise. You just have to come.
Snaking her arms around his neck, her luscious lips caressed his lips until his arms tightened around her, pulling her close, enjoying the feel of her spectacular body through the short, thin gown. Enjoying their prolonged hug and kiss, they nearly became lost in each other's arms. Marissa gently pulled out of his embrace and straightened her gown over her shoulders again. It’s a date then,
looking up into his eyes with such hope. How could he say anything but, Of course, darling, I will be delighted.
He took time perusing her chart, recovering from her embrace, employing the Doctor consternation look
on his face, studying her chart. However, he had it memorized, like his other patient's files. Fully recovered, he said, Marissa, what must I do to make you realize you cannot wait until the last minute for your appointment at SAROS? You know very well that everyone must undergo a complete regeneration once our carbon dioxide reaches a dangerous level, which is where you are now! Have you forgotten why we draw regular infusions from healthy humans? With a big sigh, he continued,
You have been neglecting your health. I will use the infuser today, but it can only bring you to a bare minimum level." He said.
Stepping close, he gently cupped her hands in his. Marissa, darling, must I remind you that this is not our native planet? Our scientists discovered many years ago that none of its inhabitants are native. We chose to migrate here! The other inhabitants come from worlds in several other universes! The earthlings were brought here as a scientific experiment! It failed, and they were abandoned, scattered across the planet to live or die! We know that many evolved, and many became extinct.
Carl, darling, I know all about our history. I know I have neglected regular feedings, but I plan to remedy that situation. I know that a complete regeneration will be necessary to restore my youth and vigor! My goodness, am I starting to look old?
She said, stepping close again, almost touching, looking up with her tantalizing eyes and moist lips transporting his mind and body back to that earlier embrace.
Putting his hands on each side of her face, he said, No, darling, on the outside, you are as beautiful and radiant as ever. However, your chart tells a different story. You must have noticed symptoms, like fatigue and loss of cognitive functions, for some time.
Jutting her chin up, she said, I just completed a long, exhausting consultation for one of my most important clients. I am doing pretty well, earning a substantial commission!
She straightened her shoulders, pride showing in her voice. But she couldn’t help remembering how tired she was every night when she fell into a deep coma-like sleep. Rarely encouraging Mario to share her bed.
Startled back to reality, Carl was still holding her face close, looking at her with his serious Doctor look.
She was becoming a little worried! Looking up at him with her big, brown, sexy eyes, she said, Carl, I didn’t realize how distracted I have been.
Slowly pulling back, she brought her hands to her chest and, closing her eyes, sighing, My Mario is so adorable with his hot body and boundless energy. He does everything for me and romances me like no other lover has for hundreds of years! Except you, darling.
Marissa said, looking into Carl’s eyes for several seconds before stepping back a little, lowering her head, hiding the tiny smile on her luscious, full red lips, remembering Carl’s magic lips and hands. His fingers under her chin tipped her head up as he stepped closer, drowning in her beautiful eyes. Carl looked angry, and he was starting to look dangerous. She was getting worried. She had never seen Carl this angry. Marissa, you have got to start taking this seriously. The next phase will start whether you are ready or not! You do not want to be alone or with your Mario when it happens!
Stepping away from her, he continued, The Nitrogen/Oxygen/Carbon Dioxide mixture of this planet's atmosphere is not exactly toxic to us; we can expel much of the carbon dioxide. Unfortunately, if we don’t flush the Carbon Dioxide periodically, our bodies will stop absorbing Nitrogen/Oxygen, and as we have learned the hard way, we will start to grow old and eventually die just like these earthlings. Our scientists disproved the theory that humans crawled out of the primordial slime, as their experts proudly declare. We believe the
Grande Experiment was intended to establish a race of slaves! Slaves that would be passive and easy to manipulate when planted on any planet capable of sustaining oxygen-breathing life. Something went terribly wrong! Each new generation became more aggressive, and when the inhabitants became uncontrollable in their aggressiveness, the
Master Race packed up and left them to fend for themselves.
Dr. Carl Sanderson said.
When his oration ended, Marissa felt like Carl’s piercing black eyes were boring into her soul. His eyes set off his square-jawed face under a full head of jet-black hair and a just-back-from-vacation tan. His slim body, just shy of 6 feet, gave him the appearance of a model stepping off the pages of a fashion magazine. Dressed in a crisp white shirt and red tie, his knife-sharp pressed slacks did not entirely hide his Gucci shoes. His starched white coat boasted Dr. Carl Sanderson, boldly embroidered on the front pocket in Navy Blue, was now being wrinkled by his firmly placed fists on his slim hips.
Letting his fists fall, his face softening at the look of dismay and fear on Marissa’s beautiful face, he said, Now, darling, lie down and relax. I will set up the machine to pump a high concentration of Nitrogen/Oxygen mixture into your body and pull a significant amount of carbon dioxide from your system. In a few minutes, you will feel energized.
Carl positioned the clear plastic mask over her nose and mouth, folding her gown to her waist. He couldn’t help pausing to admire her beautiful, perfect breasts. He placed the transparent plastic unit infuser used exclusively for his special
patients over her chest, adjusting the dials.
Bending down, kissing her forehead, he said, Have a nice rest, my dear. I will be back in twenty minutes. Then we need to have a serious talk about your Mario.
Marissa relaxed to the machine's hum and closed her eyes. Within seconds, she drifted into a deep slumber.
Twenty minutes later, Carl came through the door, pausing, remembering their embrace and knowing the kind of talk
he intended to have with Marissa. He pushed the lock so the do not disturb
notice was lighted on the other side.
Gently touching her on the shoulder to wake her as he took the mask off her face and chest. She blinked several times. It felt like she had only been asleep a minute. She sat up, pulling her gown over her shoulders. Now, young lady, we need to talk! He said, the stern look returning to his face.
This infusion is only a temporary fix; you have not been taking care of yourself and getting regular feedings
from a human. You are nearing the time for complete regeneration. Using this mechanical device should not be necessary. I don’t understand. Mario keeps you happy sexually, Marissa. He doesn’t have to be a willing participant, and you won’t harm your precious Mario. After all, he is right there in your household, and from what you tell me, he is willing, able, and anxious to share your bed. You brag about how devoted he is to you, so why don't you take feedings
from him?"
Looking up demurely, bringing her hands to her chest, It is true. Time slips away when I am with my Mario. He is sooo beautiful, with his dark, exotic looks and boundless energy; I can’t get enough of him.
Opening her eyes wide, she exclaimed, Carl, I am afraid to draw from him. I might lose control and take too much or release too much Carbon Dioxide; he will get sick or die. I couldn’t stand it if I accidentally killed him.
She said, tears starting to form in her eyes.
Marissa, you know you can’t keep him much longer. Hasn’t he been with you for nearly 5 years? Long-term associations with humans have been dangerous to us in the past. What if he discovers your secret and tells someone? It could mean disaster, not just for you but for all of us. Are you absolutely sure he doesn’t already know about you? What if he is a member of SASHA (Seek and Save Humans from Aliens)? He could be planning to expose and capture you as we speak.
Carl said a lot less gently than he intended.
He can’t be a member of SASHA. I know he is completely loyal to me.
She cried, now unbidden, the tears beginning to fall. She continued, "I am not madly in love with Mario, and I know that
