2
A collection of true stories that revolve around our continuous search for “more.” And while this trait is essential for the long-term sustainability of humanity, John Mucai suggests that we must always strive to appropriately calibrate our desires. And more importantly, adopt a problem-solving mindset in our never-ending quest for “more.”
- HISTORICAL SNAPSHOTS OF THE GREAT: What can we learn from them?
3
The quality of life that we enjoy today is a function of the actions of many individuals in different spheres of life. Some of these people came before us many years ago, while others live amongst us. This book explores the lives of some significant historical figures to find out whether they had any common attributes that we can emulate.
- Multiple Dilemmas: A fictional story of multiple ethical dilemmas based on true historical events
6
Multiple Dilemmas is a thriller anchored on historical events that raise significant ethical questions. The book delves deeply into challenging situations where ethical considerations are paramount, but the right choices are not evident. The twists and turns in the story will keep the reader entranced for several hours.
- Seeking the Right Path: A search for spiritual enlightenment
5
This book is a chronicle of a personal search for spiritual enlightenment. John Mucai starts by finding out what religion means. He then looks at the different religions in the world today and zeros in on four major ones: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. The followers of these four religions account for approximately 80% of the world’s population. He looks at their beliefs, practices, and sacred texts. While the book would be of immense interest to theologians, it is not a book on theology. Instead, it is an attempt by the author to seek spiritual enlightenment by sifting through religious literature. The author’s findings are illuminating. Every reader will find something of value in the book to give their life a better meaning.
- Stratagem: Developing a Strategic Mindset
8
Have you ever attended a strategy meeting and wondered whether everyone in the forum understood what strategy meant? If you have, you are not alone. Interestingly, many such meetings roll on smoothly with impressive outcomes. That phenomenon is the ninth wonder of the world. Some participants probably spend many hours after the meeting engrossed in self-doubt or guilt, depending upon how loudly they spoke during the session. A cold or hot beverage usually works wonders during such moments of self-reflection. If you are one of those who experience self-doubt but usually emerge from strategy discussions with your conscience intact, you must count your blessings. You are a brave survivor. But whatever category you belong to, you have the cure for strategy-fuzziness right at your fingertips. Stratagem describes strategy with exceptional lucidity. Well-thought-out strategies are not only essential for business success; they are critical for success in personal life.
- One Day in the Year 3000
8
Nobody knows what the future holds one thousand years from today. But one can make some wild guesses. This book peeks into that distant future in a fun way.
- Archetypes of Human Existence: A New Perspective
9
Out of the more than seven billion people who inhabit the earth, no two are exactly the same. Even tweens have differences. And yet, the behavior of human beings can be reduced to a few archetypes. At the heart of the matter, each human being is one single entity comprised of a mind and a physical body. A mind that yearns for happiness and a body that longs for sustenance. The interplay of these two needs creates the different archetypes of humans. This book explores a few of the archetypes. It discusses how the ideas around archetypes converge to offer a new perspective on fundamental questions that existentialists have been grappling with for ages. The people described in the second chapter of the book are entirely fictitious. Any resemblance of their names to real people is purely coincidental. However, the characters are real and live among us. You may recognize some of them in your local community, your network of friends, or even in other human networks to which you are directly or indirectly connected.

- Number One: Nothing Else Seems to Count
11
In the modern, highly competitive world, doing well in any competition is not enough. Being number one is what counts. This book traces the lives of five colorful individuals. They are winners in their unique ways from the early stages of their lives. We experience, intimately, the twists and turns that occur as they enter early adulthood and get embroiled in a contest anchored in the pursuit of business success and love. At some point, each character realizes that things can get highly complex, emotionally draining, and even dangerous when love is in the mix. The outcome of their respective pursuits to be “number one” is astounding. Indeed, the way the story ends offers readers tremendous food for thought.
