About this series

Book fourteen, Meeting & Beyond, expands the work into completely unforeseen areas—like the seminaries? Now we get to the Lord's real agenda: rescuing His Bride held in bondage. As we finished Meeting Religion, we got a hint that the growth of the Haugean School of the Arts was not over. But it was only part of the major move made by the Messiah on the St. Olaf College campus. He had sovereignly moved to touch over a hundred fifty students and nearly a dozen professors who met Him personally, and were radically reborn.

Now, everyone is forced to deal with the fact that Jesus has just started his work in Northfield and St. Olaf. It goes far beyond what anyone had expected. It gradually becomes clear that His plan is to make radical changes within mainline corporate churches. He is especially concerned with how the institutional church had virtually eliminated true faith and the transformations we see in the Bible—beginning with the indwelling Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

No one had expected that the Messiah would actually begin touching the seminaries. In fact, he is building strong access into woke denominations—by touching the men and women called to lead them. He is producing a level of radical foundational change that has not been seen since Luther, Wesley, Calvin, and the rest started what we now call the Reformation.

Using rigid doctrinal positions, the enemy of Mankind has eliminated life from the mainline denominations—actually made it heretical. I know it's hard to wrap your mind around that bit of foolishness. But, it happened in every denomination—including evangelical and pentecostal corporate institutions.

Have you noticed that CEO and manager are not listed in Ephesians four with the leadership gifts from the Lord? Or that Jesus expects church leaders who are radically reborn believers, not highly trained employees?

Yes, you can experience this level of living. Just ask Jesus to speak to you. Prepare to be surprised, with joy.

The Meeting Jesus Saga is an extended tale of current twenty-first century living within the Kingdom of God. There is an on-going witness to rebirth, spirit-filled living, marriage, walking in the spirit, and generally, living and working under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Marriage is explored as a foundation stone, part of the core of the Kingdom—a three-way covenant of power, love, and joy.   Book one, Meeting Jesus, starts when the Lord speaks to a non-believing college freshman graphic designer in his parent's church. Shocked the Hell out of him—literally. The Lord's plans are amazing and they start in Albuquerque.    It begins with Denzell Trujillo, young man of Spanish descent who's attending the University of New Mexico with a proposed major of Graphic Design. His father is a Digital Media professor at the school, who married a gorgeous actress of Black Caribbean descent. The Trujillo's were one of the original founding families of Albuquerque when it was founded in 1706. But the Lord has a major work planned and He wants Denzell's help.   Like many works of Jesus, our Messiah, it starts out very small. We start with Denzell Trujillo, a new college freshman art student in Albuquerque, falling asleep in church when the Lord talks to him—so clear he was sure it was out loud. Within three days, he's a new creation powerfully reborn into a life of wonder. Even more startling, the man chosen to mentor Him in the Kingdom thinks he has powerful things to do—soon! There's a major evil force beginning to attack Albuquerque.   Then there's Raquel Henstrum, a young female computer genius tied up in the evil he's learning to battle in the Spirit. She becomes a real trial: a strong temptation and a target of intercession. However, the intercession won't work unless he remains pure. But the Lord powerfully backs up his prayers.   Raquel is hooked deep into the evil world of her boss, a black magician, and terrified by the demon who controls her. But she finds unexpected times of clarity and freedom. What is going on?   More than that, the evil coming upon Albuquerque is far outside the people's comprehension. Where's it coming from? Who can stop it? Only the anointing of the Lord…

Denzell and Raquel discover that the evil behind the troubles of the first book is behind a major trafficking effort on the Navajo Nation. The godly company birthed in Book One discovers that the evil behind the violence is working globally. They are deeply tied into the Swamp, but what is this mayor of a small city in southwestern Utah? He's clearly deep into this work of subverting political power. But he's a nobody.   Tue and Freau Trujillo [Denzell and Raquel's cover names] become deeply concerned by the young women disappearing off the Res —the Navajo Nation. No one seems to care. As usual, they turn to the only One with real power and ask for help. Notah Begay is simply depressed, and that's not like him. Like his father, Bebe, he's a loose and free, old-school Navajo warrior—an increasingly irrelevant type of human in the modern American world.   He was home-schooled and recently received his high school diploma. He and all the young people his age are consumed with getting high, getting laid, and avoiding reality. The girls will do anything to find someone to take care of them. It's simply too painful. But the Lord has other ideas. Notah is hired by Tue and Freau's Design Company to get to the bottom of things.   Haloke, a young Navajo orphan abused by two of her many foster fathers, in desperation escaped from her painful life determined to make a way for herself. But she was completely unequipped to resist the charms of Ahiga Tl'izilani. She discovers that she's an excellent recruiter for the young women desperate enough to do anything to bring themselves support and security. But, Ahiga has a horrible reputation for good reasons. She discovers she's trapped in a snare for which she volunteered. Her demonic minder makes increasingly terrifying demands for control.   Clearly the Lord is not without a plan. But where it ends up is a true surprise for everyone. The blessings are without precedent in a nation struggling to simply survive. Only the anointing of the Lord…

The Lord makes a major expansion of the work into Santa Fe. But, as usual, He starts with a surprise—a pansexual artist on Canyon Road in Santa Fe. This is one of the top 3 (according to some) fine art centers in the world. Paintings are commonly $30,000 to $50,000 or more. Most of them aren't too good, they have too much ego involved. But anyway, Eloy de Salas, the artist, answers the Lord's call.   After the Messiah brings Eloy through a radical rebirth, He uses the same mentors to show this artist how things work in the Kingdom of God. But, he finds himself interceding for an amazingly beautiful demon-possessed trophy wife. Haseya was purchased [for $600,000+] by a political power monger to use for sexual favors to manipulate the political powers in New Mexico.   Haseya has no idea that she was sold as a slave. She had thought she was his wife. But her supposed husband is deeply evil using her as a sexual tool. But Jesus has a plan to take care of that.   More than that, our Messiah has a plan to make a spiritual stronghold in the midst of the fine art elite on Canyon Road. He gives them the wherewithal to build an amazing gallery. He transforms the lives of several people to help, and shows them how he wants things done. It's a new way of doing business using only believers. It's glorious.

Eloy and Haseya are confronted by the evil they offended in the process of building Nizhóní Artwork (the new gallery). It's the same group that was behind the problems in Albuquerque and on the Navajo Nation. It starts with Jasmin Wildhorse, the widow of a maniacal Comanche prophet.   She is living in a demon-infested mansion with people involved with an occultic variation of the Native America Church, called Half Moon+. They use a magic mushroom liqueur instead of peyote to access demonic power. The Lord sovereignly speaks to Jasmin, while she's under severe demonic attack, showing her the way out. He sends her to a meeting in Eloy and Haseya's home. There she meets Jesus and ends up a new creation working at the gallery.   She finds herself becoming a close friend of William, the anointed artist-in-residence. Surprised by the Lord, she ends up working in the marketing office, in charge of the Website and online marketing. At her wedding with William, two of the people from Half Moon+ show up to cause chaos. One of them is Bimisi, the Jicarilla Apache medicine man who sicced the demon on her.    The other, Maria Aragón, sees her way out of that mess, and turns to the Lord. That tips Half Moon+ into attempting to destroy the gallery. One thing about spiritual warfare that's not understood is that the world doesn't even notice it happening right in front of their eyes. But nasty as it gets, the demons don't stand a chance with believers walking in faith, following Jesus. It's a fun ride as the Lord makes fools of the enemy.

Some good news to counter the bad news A group of believing silversmiths and stone cutters, who are focused on sharing the touches of beauty which the Lord has left scattered around His creation for our enjoyment, begins their work. Jason is an abject failure. When his wife died suddenly, without warning, he fell apart. But as the owner of a jewelry store in Albuquerque, he had people dependent upon him, and he had failed them badly. He was going bankrupt, but worse he was having thoughts of suicide. The Lord saw His opportunity to get Jason to make the necessary decisions, and the depressed widower is transformed—but it takes a while. However, it is remarkable what happens when a new believer is introduced to Truth—the conversational presence of Jesus in his or her life (plus, a Holy Spirit-sent mentor). Jason soon realizes that radical changes are needed, and by the grace of God, he makes them. But he needs help. The Lord's solution is his normal first option—a spouse designed to meet his need, while he is designed to meet hers. He didn't expect her to fall out of the sky, but it was wonderful. From that beginning, the Lord assembles a strong working group building it with truly messed up people. But they all fit well into His plan. And the work grows. It's a tale told Biblically, focusing on the people called by the Lord, and leaving the nasties to their own devices in the past. Because of the times, things are compressed. In the Bible the Holy Spirit skips over the years of waiting, and development of character. But at this point in time, the Lord doesn't have that luxury, for the end of the age of the Gentiles is upon us. So, things happen quickly, but it still reads like a tale out of scripture. It's fiction, so there is fun along the way. Plus, a lot of heart-felt thanksgiving and worship. The story will build you up allowing you a glimpse of what your life would be like if you just trust Jesus and do what He suggests. It could transform your life, as well.

Meeting Mentors: Meeting Jesus Saga, #12

Book twelve, Meeting Mentors, is focused on getting the school up and running well. But it becomes much more than that.   They are actually redeveloping the ugly side of the Downtown District—bringing life, love, and peace—along with life-changing power. The Lord's plans quickly blow right past Edvard and Astrid's preconceptions. They had tried to be as open to what the Lord wanted as possible. But the Lord keeps expanding the boundaries. At this point there don't seem to be any, except of course, if they doubt. It's just another walk of faith. But this one's really fun.   All they're doing is making room for the school, right? But, a hundred thousand square foot living quarters? Then the school building itself doubles or triples in size. The artists the Lord brings in are the normal motley crew of damaged individuals who are transformed by their rebirth into the Kingdom.   What's the Lord's agenda? It certainly goes far beyond the school. But all they have are hints and sometimes obscure clues. Like this time, He starts rescuing cooks and bakers. But these are highly skilled chefs and pastry chefs. The food is spectacular, but that's not Jesus's focus.   These creative people are part of the harvest of individuals that the Lord has been working on throughout all of the Ascended Light works in the Meeting Jesus Saga. But they are beginning to see that the Lord has a larger target this time. We know that vengeance is the Lord's. As His people, we are told to forgive and love the enemy. However, the Lord has some real problems with what the traditional church has done to some of his favorite people.

Author

David Bergsland

For me, my early life culminated with the great rebellion of the sixties. Ending up as a fine artist and heavy user of pot and acid, I needed help. I met Jesus in 1974, and my life began, for real. The Lord gave me an amazing Godly woman for my wife in 1976. I became a graphic designer, font designer, and desktop publisher. In 1991, I began teaching printing and digital publishing. That resulted in writing dozens of books and booklets about the practical processes, using InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. In 2009, I began the transformation into an author of fiction. By the end of 2022, I had 17 novels in five series, as I have developed my craft. This book is #20, and is the third book of the sixth series. I’m using Christian contemporary speculative fiction with some Biblical romance to share stories about the reality of how Jesus touches our day-to-day lives, while being strongly focused upon Biblical truth. I put the stereotypical Bible quoters in the same category as robo-callers. I attempt to reveal Jesus within a realistic world sharing my experiences. The goal is to reveal Jesus as a loving Creator building people into what they are designed to be. I currently assume time is running short, and the final harvest is here.
