Jessica Hull set a new Australian 1500m record of 4:00.41 at the Berlin ISTAF meet, becoming the first Australian to hold both a 1500m and 5000m National Record in 23 years since Kate Anderson. Gen Gregson also featured in Berlin running 9:44.18 in her sole steeplechase of the season.

Antrim Coast Half Marathon in Northern Ireland won by UK duo Mo Farah and Lily Partridge in the leadup to the London Marathon in three weeks time. Masters athlete Johnny Hughes set a new over 60s half-marathon record of 71:09. Athletics Weekly Report
Stewy McSweyn came third in the Golden Spike 1500m in Ostrava, Norway in 3:34.25, behind Jakob Ingebrigsten winning the race. Matt Ramsden posted a new personal best 3:35.23 to move 6th of all time, Ryan Gregson 3:35.74. The trio are set to reload this week in the 1500m in Zagreb and then the 3000m at the Rome Diamond League.
