Description
Adults have a conscious mind that is a gatekeeper that prevents us from punching strangers that make us angry or from telling our friend our honest (negative) thoughts about the dress she loves, but children do not have this brain gatekeeper YET. This is why children have no filter and they express emotion in the second they feel it! I discuss how unrealistic expectations on young children with developing, growing brains, creates suffering and victimhood in parenting! I also discuss my theory about why most of us have the core wound of low self worth, “I am not good enough, pretty enough, successful enough, smart enough.”
This episode was inspired by the book Fear No Evil and one of my favorite conscious mothers, Nicole Parker (@theseedofjoy_).
