It's a Special Saturday edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, as Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) is here to discuss the Panthers' 4-3 loss against the Los Angeles Kings at home. The Kings dominating the game for the first 30 minutes with sustained offensive zone time and creating chances off the rush early and often. Panthers came in hot on the Power play, but not only did the Cats not score on any of their 5 PP opportunities, but they allowed LA to get two short handed goals(including one where the Panthers had a man advantage due to a 5-minute Major). The Panthers came alive in the second half of the second period and got 2 goals in less than 3 minutes to cut the deficit to one, but even a 19-11 SOG advantage for Florida wasn't enough to comeback and even get a point out of this one. Now at their 4th 3-game losing streak of the season(without having 1 3-game winning streak), their season is on the line tonight as they welcome the likely Presidents' Trophy Winner, the Boston Bruins(who have not dropped back-to-back games all season).
