He was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences by Judge Clifton Newman. In that status conference, the judge ruled all 12 jurors from the trial will be questioned in open court. Everyone's just trying to survive in a rough world. No one knows this better than the outspoken, unfiltered 83-year-old host Karmela Waldman, a Holocaust survivor. Her co-host son, Joel, is just trying to survive life as a father of three, husband, parental caretaker, and TV news correspondent. Each week, join this dysfunctionally dynamic mother-son duo as the two take a light look at all sorts of stories of survival, from surviving a son's murder to life as a CIA agent to the fame and fast fortune that come with being a hip-hop legend. Did we mention Karm is also a licensed therapist? So, no topic is off limits for these two pillars of podcasting who also break down the biggest news stories. One question always remains: Will Joel survive the survivor? Tune in to find out!
