Officials confirmed her body was later found in rural Osceola County, just days after she was first reported missing. Stephan Sterns, her mother's boyfriend and the prime suspect in Madeline's disappearance, is accused of moving her body in the morning hours of Monday, Feb. 26, after killing her in Kissimmee, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said. The medical examiner's office will determine her cause of death. Investigators and lawyers look at where the case stands. #BestGuests: Detective-Sergeant Christopher Anderson,a retired Birmingham Police Department veteran with 27 years of experience in law enforcement.  The detective also co-hosted Investigation Discovery (ID) channel’s television series “Reasonable Doubt” and previously solved crimes on air for A&E’s First 48-Birmingham.  He is also Host of the Crime and Cookie Juice Podcast and author of the upcoming book, “The Case”. Dr. Elizabeth L. Dr. Jeglic has published over 150 books, articles and book chapters and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal Sexual Abuse.
