Description
In this episode, Amoda Maa is in conversation with Henry Shukman, Zen teacher at the Mountain Cloud Zen Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico (www.mountaincloud.org) and author of One Blade of Grass. Together they explore some of the parallels between the Zen and the Nondual approaches and understanding of awakening. After a spontaneous awakening at the age of 19, and a childhood marked by severe chronic eczema, Henry embarked on a reluctant journey of healing and deeper awakening, in various traditions and therapies. He trained for years in the Sanbo Zen lineage, and is now an authorized Zen master, leading Mountain Cloud Zen Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His memoir One Blade of Grass chronicles his journey.
