We will see snow in the interior Mid Atlantic and much of the Northeast with a mix or just rain along the coast. This will be the first widespread snowfall of the winter season for many areas. A strong system will be coming into the Western US over the weekend with rain and snow in the mountain west. This storm will head to the Southern Plains and then strengthen into a major storm. There will be big impacts from the Central and Southern Plains, Great Lakes, the Gulf States, Ohio Valley and East Coast from this storm Tuesday into Wednesday.
