Weather in 5 looking at a risk of severe weather today from Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New England. Very warm to hot humid weather continues this week. Low pressure in the Eastern Gulf States will move off the Carolinas later this week and head north. It needs to be monitored for the potential for tropical development once it moves offshore. Tropical Storm Edouard sets a record as the 5th named storm and the earliest we have ever gotten to the 5th name storm in the satellite era (1968).
