Severe weather is front and center in the Plains to the Midwest tonight and a widespread severe weather outbreak is possible Tuesday in the Upper Mississippi Valley to the Great Lakes. Tornado risk is elevated and there is EF2 TO EF5 tornado risk. In the Eastern US an upper ridge is making for warm and dry conditions through Wednesday as temperatures rise. Thursday brings a cold front and the chance for showers and thunderstorms. We will have a closer look at Friday and the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
