A series of low pressure areas will be heading out of the Gulf States and spread waves of rain through the Southern and Eastern US throughout the week. 5 TO 7 inches of rain are forecast across the Gulf States with lesser amounts for the Mid Atlantic into New England. Arctic air is gone and we do not see any any arctic air masses coming into the US during this week.
