Description

Cameron and Isaac finish up their retrospective on 2013 movies with Scorceses famous release. Staring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill, The Wolf of Wall street follows events based on the true story around Jordan Belfort and his sketchy workings as a stock broker. Full of partying, debauchery, and derogatory behavior, Jordan achieves the highest level of wealth with little regard for the family around him. Can this wild ride entice the casual or will the excessive display be too much to for Isaac to enjoy?

An ECFS Productions Original Podcast: Cinema Spectator is a film history podcast that takes away the pretense that usually comes along with learning about film. Each week, we tackle a "classic" of film history but do these films actually hold up for a modern audience? Can they entertain someone who grew up on Spider-Man reboots and Jim Carrey movies, or will they forever be relics of a bygone era?
