Description

This is a Silver Linings Handbook bonus episode with The Murder Sheet Podcast with the hosts, Kevin and Áine. We talk about the Delphi Murders and the media circus surrounding them.I can remember the moments walking along a rural street in Leesburg, Virginia when I wondered what happened to those little girls in Delphi, Indiana.Who videotaped their kidnapper on an abandoned railroad bridge? I thought it must have been solved. I was wrong. I quickly found out that The Murder Sheet Podcast owned the case of the deaths of 13 year old Abby Williams and 14 year old Liberty Germain. Kevin Greenlee and Áine Cain brought a journalist's perspective to the case unlike other podcasts I had come across. They were more ethical, honest and balanced. They were not sensationalists and advocates who were most of the people who filled the airwaves. They are also unbelievably empathetic people and have been a great support to me, especially since my mother's recent passing. The sensationalism and absurdity among content creators has only gotten worse and some of the inappropriate behavior has spread to even the defense team for the man charged. In this episode we discuss the media circus surrounding this case and how it's not serving the defendant or the victims.Listen to The Murder Sheet Podcast here and learn more by visiting our website and follow along with us on Instagram.
