You may have heard the popular saying that some things cannot be taught, they must be learned or experienced. Some things will only become clear when we engage in it ourselves. It highlights the level of openness that we need and the way that love  cuts across religious, racial and other boundaries. Carefully designed experiences allow us to shift from being quick to reject, resent or fight against ideas to authentically connecting with each other. When we engage and share stories we learn how we are actually so much more similar than we are different.
