Our offseason fantasy hockey coverage continues with a deep dive into our Metropolitan Division preview and predictions. Taking a look at the teams in the eighth spot through to the first and analysis of the top fantasy hockey pieces on the rise you need on your fantasy hockey team and the pieces you want to be fading for this upcoming draft season in the NHL fantasy realm.

The bottom of the division is a lot more clear than the top, with both Flip and Steele agreeing on the Philadelphia Flyers in 8th, Columbus Blue Jackets in 7th, and the Washington Capitals in the 6th spot. Pieces on those clubs to watch rise are Morgan Frost and Owen Tippett. You should also be considering the likes of Rasmus Sandin and Dylan Strome on the Capitals.

In terms of the top of the division, this is year Flip and Steele disagree, but the main point is the top-three or four teams will be the New Jersey Devils, Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers.
