Description

This evening (4/19/23), in our Wednesday night shiur, we returned to Sefer Tehilim! Since I'm giving a few other shiurim on lashon ha'ra, I decided it would be apropos to learn "the lashon ha'ra perek." This enigmatic, Mishleic, difficult-to-translate chapter proved to be quite the challenge, but I think we've set up our questions pretty well, and I'm excited to see what ideas we can uncover next time (בג"ה)!-----מקורות:תהלים פרק יבספורנו יב:אתרגום כתובים יב:ה,טרש"י יב:טמצודת ציון יב:טמאירי יב:טירמיהו ט:א-ח-----The Torah content from now through the end of the month of Nisan has been sponsored by Michal Zoldan, who reached out to me over Pesach to let me know that she listens to my podcasts. I’d like to thank Michal, along with everyone else who has let me know that my Torah content is appreciated. Thank you for reading, listening, and watching, and thank you even more for supporting what I do.-----If you missed the crash-course on "How to Learn Tehilim," here's the link: https://youtu.be/PhQUhGpRwS4If you prefer a written "How to Learn Tehilim" guide, here's my article: https://kolhaseridim.blogspot.com/2018/06/how-to-learn-tehilim-psalms.htmlHere's another article I wrote entitled "How TO and How NOT to Apply Tehilim to Your Life": https://kolhaseridim.blogspot.com/2019/07/how-to-and-how-not-to-apply-tehilim-to.htmlLastly, here's an article I wrote specifically about saying Tehilim for the sick: https://kolhaseridim.blogspot.com/2017/08/parashas-shoftim-how-to-say-tehilim-for.html -----The Torah content from now through the end of the month of Nisan has been sponsored by Michal Zoldan, who reached out to me over Pesach to let me know that she listens to my podcasts. My name is Rabbi Matt Schneeweiss, and this is the hub for all of my shiurim (classes) on Tefilah (Prayer) and related topics, such as Tehilim (Psalms) and Berachos (Blessings)! The shiurim I upload here are given in a variety of formats with different lengths and intended for different audiences. The common theme which unites all of these shiurim is our focus on strengthening our relationship with Hashem through Avodah she'ba'Lev (Service of the Heart). If you have any questions feel free to email me at rabbischneeweiss at gmail. Thanks for listening!
