Description

Tonight was our first Tehilim shiur of the 2021-2022 year. Since we only had one 45 minute shiur before we break for Sukkos, we chose a perek that is short and familiar: Tehilim 150, which we say every day in pesukei d'zimra. We analyzed this perek using our usual methods, which we reviewed, and although we had to rush it a bit, I'd say we arrived at 85-95% of a solid explanation. There are definitely questions we didn't answer and ideas we didn't expand upon, but I think we provided enough of a basis to enable YOU to finish what we started. ----------מקורות:תהלים פרק קנאבן עזרא - תהלים קנ:א,הרד"ק - תהלים קנ:א,ורי"ד - תהלים קנ:אתהלים קמה:ג-ו----------If you missed the crash-course on "How to Learn Tehilim," here are links to the YouTube video, the podcast episode, and the written version. My name is Rabbi Matt Schneeweiss, and this is the hub for all of my shiurim (classes) on Tefilah (Prayer) and related topics, such as Tehilim (Psalms) and Berachos (Blessings)! The shiurim I upload here are given in a variety of formats with different lengths and intended for different audiences. The common theme which unites all of these shiurim is our focus on strengthening our relationship with Hashem through Avodah she'ba'Lev (Service of the Heart). If you have any questions feel free to email me at rabbischneeweiss at gmail. Thanks for listening!
